Hulu ups customer support ahead of live TV rollout

Hulu is set to “substantially increase” its customer support capabilities, ahead of the rollout of its new over-the-top live TV service in the US.

Hulu said it is opening a new ‘Viewer Experience Operations’ headquarters in San Antonio, Texas – a move that will bring 300 jobs to the city this year and more than 500 in total in 2018.

“One of our key values at Hulu is putting the viewer first, and vital to that is crafting and delivering an extraordinary customer experience,” said Hulu’s head of experience, Ben Smith.

“In addition to building a great product, we’re building an infrastructure that allows us to provide the most personal, responsive and knowledgable customer support for our viewers.”
