Orange names new innovation chief

Orange has named Mari-Noëlle Jégo-Laveissière as head of its innovation, marketing and technologies division. 

Jégo-Laveissière, a senior executive vice-president and member of the executive committee, replaces Vivek Badrinath, who is joining Accor Group as deputy CEO.

Jégo-Laveissière, who will report to Orange CEO Stéphane Richard, joined the France Telecom group in 1996 and has worked in distribution networks, product marketing at Wanadoo, as regional director, consumer marketing for Orange France, in research and development for the Group, on the merger between France Telecom and Orange France, and for the International & Backbone Network Factory.
