ITV signs up M2A Media for additional 12 months

Cloud-based video solutions provider M2A Media has renewed its contract with ITV by 12 months.

The company’s chosen by ITV to aid in the development of its catch-up assets for live programmes. The project was deemed such a success that it made it to the shortlist of this year’s EBU Technology & Innovation Award.

Following a successful proof of concept, the UK broadcaster chose M2A Media’s Live Capture solution to move its Late & Live workflow into the cloud, thus enabling its viewers to catch-up with programmes more quickly after the end of transmission.
