Digital TV Europe brings you the annual online update on some of the current big issues in the business of Multiscreen & OTT.

Part 1: The OTT hotlist
A growing number of new and existing content players are now delivering services direct to consumers, providing everything from general entertainment ‘skinny bundles’ to on-demand offerings targeted at highly-defined niche audiences. In Part 1 of Digital TV Europe’s Multiscreen & OTT Series 2018, we take a look at five of the most interesting services to have emerged in recent times.

Part 2: Pay TV goes OTT
As take-up of OTT TV rises, pay TV operators are turning to cloud and OTT technology to deliver their own services more efficiently and flexibly, and to give their customers the user-experience they have come to expect from the likes of Netflix. In Part 2 of Digital TV Europe’s Multiscreen & OTT Series 2018, we look at how pay TV operators are becoming more like OTT services in the way they deliver their services, as well as using OTT technology to extend their reach.

Part 3: Multiscreen & WiFi
Delivering high-resolution video services to multiple screens requires not only an effective broadband pipe into the home but a reliable and highly-efficient WiFi network. In Part 3 of Digital TV Europe’s Multiscreen & OTT Series 2018, we take a look at the challenge of delivering ‘whole-home connectivity’ and enabling consumers to view content when and where they want in a wireless world.

Part 4: Live-streaming
