ADB joins RDK as preferred member

Set-top and broadband tech provider ADB has joined the RDK organisation as a Preferred Member, which it says is a key step towards further strengthening its commitment to RDK open-source software development for broadband gateways.

The company said it aims to provide comprehensive solutions to telco operators who want to leverage the benefits of the open RDK platform, which standardizes key features used in connected broadband, video, and IoT devices.

ADB’s broadband solutions include intelligent software running on its CPE devices, a portfolio of Wi-Fi 6/6E & 7 broadband gateways and mesh nodes, and back-office systems that assist operators in monitoring and controlling their field deployments.
