FlixSnip launches free of charge D2C platform

International movie channel provider, FlixSnip, has launched a free of charge direct-to-customer (D2C) platform featuring international short form content.

The free app has launched in the US, Canada and 13 additional countries in Apple & Android app stores for download & use across all devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

FlixSnip’s curated selection of premium short form content includes of films, series and docu-minis for no subscription cost.

The platform is an aim “to make sure that everyone can enjoy premium short form content without breaking the bank or losing quality”, according to FlixSnip. The company plans to continue expanding its library, with new short-form content released every week.

The app and video-on-demand service recently launched its offering on the Sling TV Freestream in the US. it comes as the company expands its presence in the US market, with an existing presence in Europe, Asia, CIS, and Latin America.

Commenting on the launch FlixSnip’s CEO Sebastien Perioche said “At FlixSnip, we believe that everyone should have easy access to the best award-winning, international mini movies & series for all ages. Our goal is to make sure that our viewers get exactly what they want when they want it.”
