Ivo Ivanovski and Lars Mosdorf to lead A1 newly set-up TowerCo

Main shareholders of A1 Telekom Austria Group AG América Móvil (AMX) and Österreichische Beteiligungs AG (ÖBAG) have been nominated Ivo Ivanovski as future CEO and Lars Mosdorf as future CFO board for the newly set-up TowerCo.

The duo start the role immediately and will co-lead the necessary preparatory work to spin off the tower business into a separate company.

The future Towers Company is expected to be spun-off and listed at the Vienna Stock Exchange during the second half of the year.

The subject of the transaction is around 12,900 cell towers in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Northern Macedonia.

The nominations are subject to the approval of the future supervisory board of the Tower company. The shareholder meeting required for the spinoff will take place in the coming months.

Ivanovski served as head of international regulatory & european affairs of the A1 Telekom Austria Group. Previously, he served in various positions at international institutions, including on the board of directors of UN-GAID (Global Alliance for Information and Communication Technologies and Development).

Lars Mosdorf has a background in finance, digitisation and commercial and general management. He also has 16 years of infrastructure experience, including CFO, CHRO and Management Board member at Düsseldorf Airport.
