Telkom’s IndiHome TV taps Ateme to power OTT headend

Video technology outfit and solutions provider, Ateme has been tapped by Telkom’s IndiHome TV to power its OTT headend.

IndiHome TV is part of Telkom Indonesia’s nationwide fixed broadband service, which according to company reaches around one million active monthly subscribers. The outfit has selected Ateme’s OTT solutions to enable them to expand their headend and add extra channels.

The technology provider which has a hub in Indonesia has previously partnered with Telkom with KYRION contribution solutions.

Ateme’s TITAN transcoders and NEA Just-in-Time packagers deliver a superior quality of experience with low latency and vivid images. The high-density transcoders and hyperconverged storage solution aims to make the system more efficient, helping the company reduce its energy consumption.
