FlixSnip lands on Sling TV Freestream

FlixSnip, the app and video-on-demand service featuring curated and short-form movies, series and lifestyle segments is now available on the Sling TV Freestream offering in the US.

FlixSnip said it would complement existing SlingTV programming with a selection of bite-sized international mini-movies, series and documinis.

FlixSnip, which already has presence in Europe, Asia, CIS, and Latin America is now actively expanding its presence in the US market. The collaboration with Sling TV is another expansion that makes this library of shorts available to a wider audience, the outfit said.

Sling Freestream is Sling TV’s AVOD/FAST offering. The service gives access to more than 100 live channels and more than 40,000 on-demand shows and movies.

The FlixSnip App and VOD service is available worldwide to mobile providers and manufactures, cable operators, telcos, OTT, IPTV, VOD platforms and video streaming services, providing them with the opportunity to embed FlixSnip on their platforms.

“The partnership with Sling TV is a great opportunity to bring our international, premium mini-movies, series, and documinis to Sling TV Freestream service, a global leader in current digital and streaming trends,” said Sebastien Perioche, FlixSnip’s founder and CEO and Arnaud Verlhac, co-founder.

“This shows the immense potential FlixSnip has for global growth.”
