TalkTalk TV adds 90 HD channels

UK telco TalkTalk’s TV customers are now able to access over 90 new HD channels for free through the TalkTalk TV 4K Box powered by Netgem TV.

The addition of the channels means that subscdribers can now get up to 210 TV channels.

The additions meant that TalkTalk TV customers can access a range of channels from martial arts classics like Shaolin Kung Fu Master on Wu Tang Collection, to Tiger Wood documentaries on USGA TV,  news on Bloomberg Television, dramas on Wedo Movies, and kids content on Cartoon TV and educational channels like Kids Zone.

The new channels have been automatically added to TalkTalk’s 4K TV Box. Viewers can lis their chosen channels as favourites through personalisation features, enabling them to cast to the big screen and watch content on the go via the TalkTalk TV mobile app at no additional cost.

TalkTalk launched its 4K box in partnership with Netgem in March with an offer designed to undercut its main competitors. The service is available for under £5 per month.

Susie Buckridge, group product director of TalkTalk, said: “At TalkTalk we strive to offer an industry leading customer experience at fantastic value for money as a result of our strategic partnerships with sector experts. It’s why we’re pleased to be able to give our 4K TV customers access to so many free new HD channels through our partnership with Netgem TV, offering entertainment for everyone no matter their viewing preference.”
