Tele2 launches new streaming packages on back of Viaplay deal

Swedish telco Tele2 has launched three new streaming packages in its Tele2 Play offering,

The move follows the strategic distribution partnerships struck earlier this year between Tele2 and Viaplay Group giving Tele2’s pay TV customers access to a range of Viaplay’s channels and streaming services.

Tele2 is now taking the next step in the partnership and adds Viaplay to three new streaming packages.

Movies and Series includes Viaplay Movies & Series, Paramount+, National Geographic Now, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Godare, Hopster, Nordisk Film+, Filmfavoriter, Kritic, and exclusive movies and series for SEK 49 for three months and SEK 149 a month thereafter, with no minimum contract period.

Movies, Series & Sports offers Viaplay Medium, including winter sports, the Bundesliga and the Europa League, Paramount+, National Geographic Now, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Godare, Hopster, Nordic Film+, Filmfavoriter, Kritic and exclusive movies and series for SEK 99 for three months and SEK349 a month thereafter.

Movies, Series & Sports Premium includes Viaplay Total with all sports from Viaplay including the Premier League, NHL and Formula 1, Paramount+, National Geographic Now, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Godare, Hopster, Nordisk Fil+, Filmfavoriter and Kritic and exclusive movies and series for SEK 479 a month.

All packages have streamed TV as an optional extra with 21 linear channels. The package contains, SVT1, SVT2, SVT 24, SVT Children, Kunskapskanalen, TV3, Tv4, Kanal 5, TV6, Sjuan, TV8, Kanal 9, TV10, Kanal 11, TV12, ATG Live, National Geographic, TLC, Godare,  and Expressen TVochAxess TV for SEK 50 a month.

Tele2’s mobile and broadband customers can stream all content throughout the EU via the Tele2 Play app to their TV, mobile or tablet, and can also choose to add the 21 live channels.
