TF1 secures home team Nations League and Euro 2024 rights

French broadcaster TF1 has secured the free-to-air rights to broadcast France’s matches in the forthcoming UEFA Nations League and Euro 2024 football competitions, and has extended its partnership with the French national team to give it privileged access to players and coach.

TF1 will screen three of the next six France matches in the 2022 Nations League, and will share the screening of the 25 best UEFA Euro 2024 fixtures in free-to-air.

The broadcaster said the latest agreement confirmed its longstanding partnership with ‘Les Bleus’, the French national team.

“We are delighted with this new agreement, which extends our long-standing partnership with the French national football team, and reflects our ambition to offer a free-to-air showcase for the best of European football to the widest possible audience via our coverage of the Nations League, with the UEFA Euro 2024 and FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 of which the group will be the exclusive free-to-air broadcaster. We are also very proud to be the exclusive free-to-air broadcaster of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022, hosted by England from 6 July to 31 July 2022,” said François Pellissier, TF1 Group EVP of business and sports.
