Starting in early 2022, C More’s customers will have access to BritBox under the partnership, bringing over 3,000 hours of both new original series and library content to viewers.
”We are proud to work with BritBox and be able to offer our viewers such a high-quality and wide range with the best from the UK. British drama has long been very much appreciated by the Nordic audience and we see this as a perfect complement that adds both breadth and depth to our content catalogue,” said Anna Chrona, head of commercial at C More.
“We are pleased with the partnership with C More and see this step into the Nordic market as the next step in our global expansion. This underscores our belief in the growing popularity of UK content and BritBox’s unique offering,” said Reemah Sakaan, CEO of BritBox International.
BritBox content will be available to C More’s customers in Sweden, Denmark and Finland as well as via TV 2 in Norway starting in early 2022. Release dates and specific titles will be announced at a later date.
The launch will take BritBox into continental European markets for the first time following launches in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia.
