Perennial favourite Stranger Things sits atop a new look version of Parrot Analytics’ originals in-demand chart for the week ending May 17 in Ukraine.
Parrot Analytics analyses the demand for recent popular digital titles across international markets, based on the application of artificial intelligence to expressions of demand across social media, fan sites, peer-to-peer protocols and file-sharing platforms. In a new format, the analyst now illustrates demand expressions based on how much more popular a charted title is than an average TV show.
At the top, Netflix’s sci-fi hit was 23.85 times more in demand than an average show in Ukraine, with Luciferin second with 20.62 times the demand.
Netflix is content has proved particularly popular in the country, occupying the top nine spots with regularly featuring titles such as The Witcherin third with 20.34 times more demand than an average show and La Casa De Papel in fourth with 19.89 times more demand than an average show.
The only non-Netflix show to make it into the chart is Disney+ original The Mandalorian with 15.19 times more demand than an average show.
