The launch comes after Filmstruck added Chromecast support in February, with launches for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One due to follow “soon”.
The service is already available via the browser, on iOS and Android devices, on Amazon Fire TV and on the latest generation of Apple TV.
Developed and managed by Turner Classic Movies (TCM) in collaboration with the Criterion Collection, Filmstruck launched in October last year, targeted at a niche audience of devoted film fans and cinefiles.
The service is currently only available in the US with users able to subscribe to US$6.99 or US$10.99 per-month packages.
