The news organisation said that the two companies plan to “allocate significant resources into the partnership” and will focus on a number of key areas.
These are: to attract and retain audiences; build products for video and mobile; maximise advertising revenues; and train journalists with digital skills.

“The partnership covers a number of different areas such as monetisation solutions, distribution platforms like DoubleClick, YouTube, Cloud as well as digital tools training.”
