MBC Group and Etisalat have struck a deal that will see Etisalat subsidiary E-Vision distribute MBC’s channels over IP in the United Arab Emirates.
E-Vision now holds exclusive IPTV carriage rights in the UAE to all MBC HD channels – including MBC1, MBC2, MBC3, MBC4, MBC Drama, MBC Max, MBC Action.
“Entering into this strategic partnership, reiterates E-Vision’s position to acquire distribution rights to world-class channels and content,” said E-Vision CEO, Humaid Sahoo Al Suwaidi.
“As a pioneer and trusted content aggregator in the region, E-Vision is constantly striving to bring comprehensive turn-key solutions for content aggregation and content management for IPTV platforms and multi-screens.”
E-Vision aggregates Hollywood, Bollywood and Arabic content, as well as around 600-plus TV channels from around the globe.
