Swedish free and pay TV broadcaster TV4 Group has secured the rights to broadcast four matches from the men’s European basketball Championship qualifier round next month.
The deal will give TV4 the rights to air the double encounter of the Swedish team’s matches against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Russia. The matches will be shown on the TV4 Sport channel, on TV12 and on the cmore.se website and C More app from TV4’s pay TV arm.
Sweden will face Bosnia-Herzegovina in Sarajevo on September 3, with a home match between the pair and home and away matches with Russia to follow.
Johan Cederqvist, head of sports programming for TV4 Group and C More, said that the deal showed that the group was continuing its efforts to provide the best sport content to its viewers.
