Deutsche Telekom is to provide 360° video coverage of the YouTube VideoDays Convention in Cologne, Germany on August 19-20 via Twitter Halo.
The annual event, during which 15,000 fans are expected to converge on the city’s Lanxness Arena to see over 200 YouTube stars, will be covered by Deutsche Telekom with an HD live stream and via social media channels including Twitter.
Twitter Halo users will be able to share 360° videos of the event via Twitter Halo, which Telekom says is a first for the German-speaking region.
Stars including ApeCrime, Die Lochis, Mike Singer and Lisa & Lena are expected to appear at the event, which will feature a Video Song Contest for emerging online talent, a live show and gaming.
