Arris agrees OTT deal with The Weather Channel

Arris is working with The Weather Channel in the US to deliver its Local Now streaming service to Sling TV customers.

The over-the-top Local Now service offers personalised weather, news, traffic and sports information based on a subscriber’s location and will be available to all of Sling TV’s ‘Best of Live TV’ customers at no additional cost.

Arris Global Services will provide end-to-end management of the service – from design to integration, test validation, deployment, customized HTML software development, and managed services.
