Al Jazeera Media Network has launched a new HD bouquet on the Es’hail-1 satellite at 25.5° East.

Al Jazeera, which was the first channel to broadcast via the first Es’hailSat satellite in 2013, is launching its HD bouquet, which includes content from Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera English. New services Al Jazeera Mubasher and Al Jazeera Documentary Channel are to follow soon.

“We are delighted that Al Jazeera Media Networks has once again entrusted Es’hail-1 to broadcast their premium content to the MENA region.  A growing number of established and new channels are choosing Es’hail-1, at the leading hotspot for TV content, for the distribution of their channels in MENA,” said Es’hailSat’s president and CEO, Ali Ahmed Al Kuwari.

“With Es’hail-1 in operation and Es’hail-2 on schedule to be launched in Q4 2016, we are ideally placed to support the continued growth and expansion of the media sector by providing premium content, communications independence, quality of service and market penetration.”
