Trace has extended its partnership with Canal Digital in move that will see Trace Sport Stars launch in Denmark to its SMATV (satellite master antenna television) customer base.
The move marks an extension of Trace’s Nordic footprint. Trace Sport Stars has been available on the basic tier of the Canal Digital cable offer in Norway since 2012, meanwhile youth music channel, Trace Urban, has been broadcast in the family tier of the Canal Digital DTH offer since 2013.
“We are delighted to extend our deal with Canal Digital to bring Trace Sport Stars unique sport and entertainment programming to a wider audience base in Denmark,” said Trace vice-president of distribution, Timothée Vidal.
“With an increasing demand for the Trace brand in the Nordic region, it is important we reach those fans that have not previously been able to access our channels. We have no doubts that our behind-the-scene sport celebrity programming will contribute to broaden the traditional channel offer to SMATV customers.”
