Sainsbury’s launches movie and TV store on Roku

Supermarket chain Sainsbury’s has launched its Sainsbury’s Entertainment movie and TV show store on Roku streaming boxes in the UK.

Viewers will be able to use the store to buy or rent new-release movies including 22 Jump Street, How to Train Your Dragon 2 and Spiderman 2.

TV shows available on the store include Breaking Bad, Friends, and The Big Bang Theory.

“Sainsbury’s Entertainment is available for free on the Roku Channel Store exclusively in the UK and offers another great way to collect Nectar points,” said Roku director of content acquisition, Ziba Kaboli-Gerbrands.
