France 24 launches TiVo app on Virgin and Ono

International news channel France 24 has launched a new TiVo-compatible set-top app, which is available now to Ono TiVo customers in Spain and Virgin Media TiVo customers in the UK.

The app gives free, on-demand access to all France 24 programmes in French and English for the three weeks after their initial broadcast.

The app, on both Ono and Virgin, will also offer France 24 live streams in French and English and offers the headlines of the day through the ‘News in Pictures’ section.

“Thanks to this new app, France 24 strengthens its presence throughout Spain and the United Kingdom, deploying this new interactive service, in addition to its linear distribution,” said France 24.

France 24 is available on Virgin Media in English and French on channels 624 and 832, and in English on ONO channel 138. The France 24 app was developed by DotScreen.
