Polish broadcaster TVN has struck a deal with Bloomberg to distribute the latter’s video content via its TVN x-news service.

The content, which will be focused on Europe’s economic issues and technology and luxury sectors, will be translated into Polish and can be used across TV, the web and mobile.

TVN’s x-news online service is a distribution platform for video, audio and photo news content from within Poland and abroad. Run by TVN Media, it features both paid and free content.

X-news’ other content suppliers include all TVN channels, CNN Newsource, the Cihan News Agency, the Storyful social media agency, and Media Regionalne, a network of regional online services.

“Our partnership with Bloomberg reinforces our commitment to provide the best business video service in Poland,” said Maciej Maciejowski, member of the management board in charge of business development at TVN.

Josh Rucci, global head of sales for the Bloomberg Content Service, added: “Bloomberg Media’s premium-quality video content brings business news, and the people behind it, to life. We are delighted to partner with TVN, one of the largest media companies in Poland, to bring our localised, award-winning, global finance, business, and technology reporting to a broader Polish audience.”
