A pair of Scripps Networks International channels have launched on a number of satellite platforms from Europe’s M7 Group.
Food Network and Fine Living have debuted on M7’s Canal Digitaal in the Netherlands, TV Vlaanderen in Belgium and Skylink in Slovakia and Czech Republic. SNI’s Travel Channel is already available in HD on these platforms.
“Following the success of Travel Channel in these regions, Scripps Networks International is pleased to announce this new deal with M7 Group that expands the distribution of two more of our lifestyle channels to key European markets via one of Europe’s leading TV providers,” said Scripps Networks UK and EMEA managing director Jon Sichel.
Further to the agreements, Travel Channel, Food Network and Fine Living will also launch on Online.nl, M7’s new IPTV platform in the Netherlands.
Luxembourg-based M7 is in a combined three million homes through the various operating territories.
SNI is the international channels and programming arm of US lifestyle networks provider Scripps Networks Interactive.
