A+E launches channels on Apple TV in the US

A+E Networks has launched dedicated channels for its A&E, History and Lifetime channels on the Apple TV platform in the US.

The channels offer a limited selection of content including full-length episodes of shows including Storage Wars, Pawn Stars and Project Runway.

While the channels are available to non-pay TV subscribers, the bulk of A+E content on the Apple TV platform will remain available to authenticated subscribers, with DirecTV, Verizon FiOS TV and Cablevision having agreements to make their content available on the platform currently.
