Cisco expands Videoscape TV platform

Cisco has expanded its Videoscape TV services platform to include new cloud video capabilities, it announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. 

Cisco said the updates include a Videoscape “as-a-service” offering and open cloud software technologies based on OpenStack.

The firm said the new features will make it easier for customers to quickly offer new customer experiences like second screen and 4K video. Cisco said it will also offer “more customisation and personalisation for viewing and sharing content across multiple devices.”
