UKTV has launched its full network of channels on Virgin Media’s TV anywhere service, marking the first time that all 10 channels have been available together as part of a multiplatform service.
UKTV’s flagship entertainment channel Watch, along with the channels Gold, Alibi, Dave, Eden, Really, Drama, Good Food, Home, and Yesterday are all now available on Virgin TV Anywhere.
The service can be accessed on computers, as well as iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, with the UKTV channels going live to coincide with the launch of Virgin TV Anywhere’s Android app today.
“The extension of our partnership with Virgin Media is a mark of UKTV’s commitment to providing viewers with even more access to our award-winning and increasingly popular channels,” said Keith Porritt, UKTV’s executive director of commercial.
“We have committed to spending £110 million on-screen this year, making our channels stronger and more exciting, and now Virgin Media customers will be able to view these channels anywhere they like.”
