US-based digital agency Play Action has launched a new social television app called Vokl TV.
The companion app lets users follow shows, engage with other fans by ‘liking’ or ‘disliking’ characters from a show or story plots, and they can then share to Twitter and Facebook.
Vokl also gives rewards for engagement, such as gift cards and mp3 downloads from companies like Zappos, Best Buy, Pepsi and Amazon.
The app is available to download now on iOS devices, with an Android release to follow.
