Google revamps YouTube comments with Google+

Google is revamping the comment feature on YouTube by integrating it with its Google+ social networking platform.

YouTube comments powered by Google+ will appear on YouTube channel discussion tabs this week, and the feature will be added to comments on all videos later this year.

Comments from a video’s creator, popular personalities and people in the user’s Google+ Circles will appear at the top of the page, while viewers will be able to start or join a conversation that is seen by everyone on YouTube and Google+, only people in their Circles or only named individuals.

Video posters will also be given the ability to review comments before they’re posted, block certain words or auto-approve comments from certain fans.
