Telemach and other Slovenian cable operators have struck a deal with VG Media, which represents private broadcasters in Germany, that will enable them to re-start broadcasting ProSiebenSat.1 channels Pro7, Sat.1 and Kabel 1.
The agreement between Slovenian cable operators’ association ZKOS and VG Media overcame previous disagreements about terms for the broadcast of the channels.
Separately, Telemach has renewed a deal with sports broadcaster IKO Media in Bosnia and Herzegovina and will launch the latter’s new HD sports channel on its pay TV service in that country.
Under the deal, Telemach will continue to offer IKO’s package of six Sport-klub channels, including Sport-klub, Sport-klub Plus, SK Prime, Sport-klub 3, Sport-klub 4 and Sport-klub 5. The cable operator has also signed a deal to bring IKO’s HD channel Sport-klub HD to its line-up.
