DVB-T2 broadcasts begin in Yekaterinburg

Russian state broadcasting organisation RTRS has begun DVB-T2 based digital-terrestrial broadcasts in the Sverdlovsk region. Digital broadcasts will be initiated from 65 sites, covering the cities of Yekaterinburg, Afanasyevsk, Bisert, Nizhniye Sergi, Asbest, Yushala, Tugulym, Artemovskiy, Zaykovo, Alapayevsk and Samotsvet.

RTRS revises switchover criteria

Humax to make boxes in Russia for DVB-T2 rollout
