Warner Bros. Discovery to launch ‘Warner Pass’ streaming offering with Amazon in France

Warner Bros. Discovery has teamed up with Amazon Prime Video to  launch a new offer bringing together a collection of Warner Bros. Discovery’s programming in France.

The Warner Pass will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video Channels in France will offer viewers access to all of HBO and 12 channels including Warner TV, Eurosport, Discovery Channel, Cartoon Network and CNN, as well as their associated on-demand services. The offer will be available to Amazon Prime members via subscription from March 2023.

The launch comes after Warner Bros. Discovery’s decision last year to halt its global rollout of HBO Max and the introduction of a plan to launch its new combined streamer in France. The new streamer is set to debut in France next year.

The Warner Pass will meanwhile bring together new seasons of HBO shows including Succession, Perry Mason, The Gilded Age, Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, Barry, Somebody Somewhere, hotly anticipated new series such as True Detective: Night Country, The Idol and White House Plumbers as well as exclusive access to HBO’s rich library of iconic series, like Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, Sex And The City, The Wire, Veep and Chernobyl.

Prime Video Channel subscribers will also gain access to movies and series with Warner TV, TCM Cinema, Adult Swim and Toonami, sports, including the Olympic Games Paris 2024, all the Grand Tours cycling and Tennis Grand Slams through Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, factual and entertainment with Discovery Channel, ID and Discovery Science, kids programming with Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Boing, and news with CNN.

To promote the new offering on Prime Video Channels, all Prime Video subscribers will receive exclusive access at no additional cost to watch new HBO series The Last of Us the day after its US broadcast. The first episode will be accessible on January 16.
