ASTA-NET utilities CryptoGuard DRM tech for new IPTV platform

Polish telco ASTA-NET has announced a partnership with video content security solutions provider CryptoGuard to integrate its multi-DRM solution to secure video content for its MeeVu IPTV platform.

ASTA-NET provides coverage to over 110 000 households across Greater Poland Voivodeship region. The company’s new IPTV platform, MeeVu, is described as “one of the biggest projects” it has undertaken. 

For the launch of MeeVu, the operator has turned to CryptoGuard’s multi-DRM tech that enables viewing across multiple devices regardless of operating system.

Jakub Kucharzewski, Board Plenipotentiary for Technology at ASTA-NET, said: “The positive relationship with CryptoGuard made this partner a natural choice for us.
