Fox News International expands to Africa

US conservative news broadcaster Fox News has launched its streaming service, Fox News International, into Africa.

As of February 17, the service is available in Egypt, South Africa, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Zambia. This increases the streamer’s reach to 44 countries worldwide and marks its first expansion into the African continent.

Fox News International is available on iOS, tvOS, Android and Fire TV. It features live streams of Fox News and Fox Business, along with a library of on-demand content.

The streamer is priced at US$6.99 per month.

Thanks to its controversial pundits like Tucker Carlson and Greg Gutfeld, Fox News has been the most-watched television news channel in the US for 20 consecutive years.

In addition to its news channels and streaming service, Fox also operates Fox News Digital, Fox News Audio, Fox News Books and US DTC streamer Fox Nation.
