Record day for Sky Sports

Sky Sports recorded its highest ever day of viewing on October 24.

On a day which featured coverage of the Premier League, Formula One and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, the broadcaster had an average audience of 1.2 million throughout the day with a reach of over 8 million. The measurement was tracked from 6am to 2am on October 25.

Viewership peaked during coverage of the English Premier League match between Manchester United vs Liverpool and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match between India vs Pakistan with 4.5 million viewers at 5:50pm BST.

Other events which drew a large audience included the USA Grand Prix, coverage of FC Köln vs Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and coverage of week 7 of the NFL.
