Roku announces German product line-up

Weeks after announcing its expansion into the country, Roku has revealed its product lineup for Germany.

The streaming players offered by the company in the country includes the Roku Express, Roku Express 4K, Roku Streaming Stick 4K and Roku Streambar.

Roku Express is the company’s entry-level HD streaming device running Roku OS and will be available for €29.99. Users can opt for the 4K version of the device for an additional €10. 

Roku Streaming Stick 4K is a more feature-rich and powerful device available for €59.99, while the Roku Streambar, which features four 1.9-inch full-range drivers with Dolby Audio in addition to being a fully-fledged streaming device, will run at €149.99.

All devices will be available from MediaMarkt, Saturn, Amazon, Expert, Euronics and Otto.de.

In addition to the device rollout, Roku has also revealed the selection of entertainment services that will be available on Roku OS. Along with the standard fare of Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, there will be a significant number of local players available to Roku users including ARD Mediathek, ProSieben Sat.1, KiKA, Netzkino, Kabel Eins, watch4.com and others.
