SPI International brings eight channels to Africa

SPI International has further expanded in Africa via a distribution deal with Digital Virgo.

The deal will see eight channels from the SPI Portfolio debut in Africa for Digital Virgo subscribers in countries including Morocco, Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast, and through the Molotov OTT platform across the entire continent. Molotov, which has 13 million users in the region, is deployed by Digital Virgo in the African continent. 

The new channels being launched are FilmBox Africa, FilmBox Arthouse, Gametoon, FightBox, Fast&FunBox, DocuBox, FashionBox and 360 TuneBox. The content of these channels ranges from Hollywood blockbusters and arthouse cinema to gaming and adrenaline sports.
