Okko, the Russian OTT platform, has promoted former Sportima CEO Oleg Manzha as the head of its Okko Sport business.
Manzha joined Okko Sport in 2020 as its marketing director, and replaces current head of Okko Sport Mikhail Gershkovich who will pursue other projects outside of the company. The exec previously spent 14 years as CEO of sports marketing agency Sportima, and before that led the marketing team of sportswear brand Sprandi.
The streamer has also recently announced the appointment of Maxim Evdokimov as its new general director. He joined the company last month, initially as product director, and replaces Yana Bartintseva.
Okko Sport, owned by Rambler Media Group, holds a significant package of sports rights including the English Premier League, 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and MMA outfit Bellator.
