Thai streamer LINE TV launches on ZEASN smart TVs

OTT and smart TV solutions provider ZEASN has announced the launch of Thai video platform LINE TV on its app store for the Whale Eco CTV OS. 

LINE TV is one of the most popular video platforms in Thailand, and offers free content to over 40 million viewers in the country. It has content partnerships with over 250 distributors, with the aim “to rule the Thai OTT TV” market. Its content offering ranges from TV dramas and movies to Y-series and music videos.

The service is an offshoot of the popular Asian social messaging app company LINE, which is said to be the fastest growing mobile messenger app in the world. The company said that it will also partner with ZEASN for a launch in Taiwan in the future.

Winson Chen, chief operating officer of ZEASN said: “We are incredibly excited and honored that LINE TV has chosen ZEASN as their first AOSP platform partner. We believe that LINE TV has great potential in the Southeast Asian OTT market, through the collaboration, ZEASN will dedicate to help them increase the scale of its Smart TV footprint and expand its audience base, making it easier for Asian users to embrace top tier streaming contents that LINE TV has to offer.”
