Fox News has announced expanded distribution across Europe for its D2C service.
The international streamer first launched in Mexico in August, and the UK, Germany and Spain last month, and is now expanding to a total of 15 countries. This new expansion will see the service available in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Sweden.
The Fox News International app offers access to Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network programming, and is available for US$6.99 per month.
The app is currently available through mobile and OTT devices, including iPhone, Android, Apple TV and Android TV. The company said that it expects launches on Amazon Fire TV and Roku later this year.
At the time of its initial launch, Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said, “We are excited to debut FOX News International, enabling our devoted audience overseas access to their trusted source for news and insightful analysis. With a catalog of more than 20 signature programs on-demand and live streams of our linear networks, this new digital streaming service will ensure our viewers around the world never miss out on the latest from America’s leading news channel.”
