ViacomCBS-owned AVOD service Pluto TV Latin America has added six new channels available via the web, Apple TV, Android TV and mobile device apps for download in iOS and Android in 17 Latin American countries.
New channels were added to existing categories Entretenimiento and Estilo de vida, as well as a new category dedicated for binge-watchers called Maratones.
The streaming service has also launched a new channel for younger viewers, Pluto TV Teen.
Pluto TV US has launched a number of single series channels that include just one title to binge-watch. It is now expanding the concept to Latin America with the Maratones category, offering series includingMinuto Para Ganar, MasterChef, and Degrassi.
Pluto TV has also struck a deal with Unilever to highlight its Dove brand through brand integration inside Pluto TV channels.
Pluto TV Latin America has 30 curated channels and aims to increase this to more than 70 at the end of the year. The service has already partnerships in place with more than 70 media and content providers, offering a library of 12,000 hours of Spanish-language content.
The full line-up of new offerings includes football channel Pluto TV Fútbol para Fans, home and lifestyle channel Pluto TV Hogar, Pluto TV Teen, Degrassi, one-minute challenge competition Minuto Para Ganar, and Masterchef.
