Cirkus can be added by Zattoo subscribers for €3.99 a month in Germany and CHF5 in Switzerland.
The partnership between the pair will bring shows including Endeavor (Der Junge Inspector Morse), Lewis, Rectify, The Hour, Vera and Norwegian drama Aber Bergen to Zattoo customers.
The partnership will add a total of 600 hours of crime and drama entertainment from the UK and mainland Europe to Zattoo’s offering, available as an add-on to subscribers with a Free, Premium or Ultimate tier.
“We are very pleased to partner with Zattoo and that Cirkus is now part of the most innovative online TV platform in Germany and Switzerland,” said Cirkus founders and managing directors Mark Bradford and Hugh Williams.
“Many people stream their favourite programmes every month on Zattoo. We want to take this opportunity to expand our reach in both countries with attractive introductory offers.”
Jörg Mayer, chief content and consumer officer at Zattoo said: “Together with Amazon Channels and Vodafone in Germany and Teleclub in Switzerland, Zattoo is currently the only provider through which Cirkus’s offering can be accessed. With Cirkus we are not only offering varied new VOD crime and drama content, but our users can also watch content in the original English as well as German versions. In this way we are meeting growing demand for multilingual content.”
