Russia’s Akado names technology and operations chief

Russian service provider Akado has named Dmitry Alekseyevich Sinitsyn as its new general director of technology and operations.

Sinitsyn was previously director of technology at the operator, which controls networks in the Moscow region. He has previously worked as head of product and services support at Comstar before becoming director of marketing at Komkor. He was appointed director of technology at Komkor, the network operator that provides services under the Akado brand, in March.

In his new role, Siritsyn will be tasked with implementing the company’s technology development strategy, spanning network infrastructure, IT and the introduction of new cloud services and information security technology.

Akado Telecom CEO Sergey Nazarov said that Akado was undergoing a transformation and was actively working to create an effective digital ecosystem for customers  that involved a number of complex technology challenges. The said that Siritsyn’s expertise would help deliver the successful implementation of the company’s projects.
