Fox Networks Group Europe and Africa’s recently launched video-on-demand service FOXNOW has debuted in Ukraine after securing a berth on cable operator Volia’s network.
The move means that FOXNOW’s catalogue of shows from the Fox and Fox Life channels, including The Walking Dead, Altanta and Da Vinci’s Demons, are now available to them.
The final season of Game of Thrones will air on the Fox channel on April 15, with new episodes appearing in the FOXNOW catalogue a day later.
The service will be available to customers of Volia’s extended service packages.
Volia is also making the service available via its Volia TV app.
Fox introduced FOXNOW in Spain in December, marking an evolution of Fox Networks Group Europe & Africa’s thinking about how on-demand services are programmed. The group has previously launched Fox+, its other on-demand service, in multiple markets, but is now focusing on FOXNOW for new markets and possibly new affiliate agreements in existing Fox+ markets.
