Sky Deutschland launches Ryder Cup pop-up channel

Sky Deutschland is launching a pop-up Ryder Cup channel that will kick off tomorrow and provide coverage of the golf tournament until October 1.

In addition to the broadcast of the golf competition, viewers will be able to see highlights from previous years and magazine shows on the channel, Sky Sport Ryder Cup HD.

The channel will provide about 30 hours of live coverage of the Ryder Cup from Paris, with commentary from Carlo Knauss, Irek Mykow and Gregor Biernath.

The service, which will take the place of Sky Sport 2 HD for the duration of the contest, will also be available on the Sky ticket OTT service while a live window on the tournament will also air free on the skysport.de website. Free highlights will also be available on the Sky Sports News HD channel.
