Close to two thirds of Tricolor TV’s subscribers now have the opportunity to connect to its internet-delivered services, according to the Russian pay TV operator.
Tricolor TV said that over 63% of its base, or about 7.8 million subscribers, could now access its online service, as it evolves its offering from what was primarily a satellite TV service to a multi-platform offering.
Tricolor saw its revenues for the first half of the year increase to RUB8.9 billion (€120 million), up 4% on the previous year. The company had 12.25 million subscribers at the end of June, including 9.9 million that too HD services. The headline figure represents a small decline on the total at the end of 2017, reflecting a decline in satellite customers. ARPU increased to RUB1,590.
Tricolor TV delivered 262 TV channels at the end of June, including 42 in HD and seven in UHD, along with 48 radio services.
