Meo adds MTV Live HD

Altice-owned Portuguese service provider Portugal Telecom/Meo has added MTV Live HD to its TV programming line-up.

The channel will be available via Meo channel 141 for ADSL and fibre clients who take the TV service with a MEObox set-top,

MTV Live HD features music videos, live performances, major music festivals including the Isle of MTV and V Festival events, the MTV Video Music Awards and MTV Europe Music Awards and other content.

MTV Live HD will be available in Portugal exclusively on Meo, airing 24-hours a day in English.

The channel launched in 2008 and is available in over 50 countries, reaching a total audience of about 24 million.
