Sky in Germany has launched Sky Ticket, a series of day, week and month passes starting at €9.99 that allow users to access Sky Online Sports and entertainment programming without an ongoing subscription.
The new online service enables sports fans in Germany and Austria to access Bundesliga matches for €9.99 a day, €14.99 a wee and €29.99 a month.
Entertainment passes are also available. The one-day €9.99 ticket gives access to content including series from Sky Atlantic HD including compete box sets, while a monthly cinema ticket gives access to blockbuster movies for €14.99.
Alice Mascia, EVP, product strategy and management at Sky Germany, said that Sky Ticket enabled the pay TV operator to address a broader audience and enabled customer to choose how they wanted to see the content on offer.
